Membership Criteria
To become an NZCPA member a person must fit the following criteria:
(i) Past Players are eligible if they have played any form of First-Class or List-A cricket within New Zealand. Membership also extends to cricket players who have played against touring international sides or have held a cricketing contract with New Zealand Cricket or any of the Major Associations.

(ii) Current Players are eligible if they have a current Major Assoication or New Zealand Cricket contract or if they have played for their Major Association team during the current season.

(iii) Women's Players are eligible if they are selected as part of the New Zealand Cricket White Ferns squad. This category will typically have 15-20 players.
