NZCPA congratulates David White on his appointment as CEO of NZC

The New Zealand Cricket Players Association (NZCPA) congratulates David White on his appointment as Chief Executive of New Zealand Cricket.
White is a current and founding Board member of the NZCPA who also served as the organisation's Chairman from 2004 -06.
NZCPA Chairman Ross Verry said " We are delighted with David's appointment as Chief Executive of NZC and believe his vast experience in the professional sporting environment coupled with his acute understanding of Cricket place him in an outstanding position to lead the organization into the future."
"Whilst we are disappointed to be losing David from a governance role in the NZCPA we know his appointment to NZC is of greater benefit and a positive outcome for the game. We thank David for his outstanding contribution to the NZCPA since the inception of the association and hugely value his role in growing the NZCPA into what it is today."
"On behalf of the NZCPA and all our members we wish David all the best in his new role and look forward to working with him in the years ahead."
In acknowledging White's appointment, Heath Mills, Chief Executive NZCPA said "The game faces many challenges and opportunities and we are confident that David has the skills and expertise to meet these and help the game prosper in New Zealand."
"We also believe his understanding of the our partnership agreement with NZC and the critical role of players in the sport will be another positive step for progressing the important relationship between NZC and the players" said Mills
