Player Welfare and Hardship Fund

A Player Welfare and Hardship Fund was been established by the NZ Cricket Players Association (NZCPA) in March 2005. This provides assistance to past players who need support in times of difficulty.

The fund will support past or present first-class cricketers and their families who suffer hardship or times of need. The support provided may be financial, but could also extend to other areas such as counselling, depending on circumstances.

Current players will be generous in donating both their time and energy to assist with the success of the Player Welfare and Hardship Fund.

Distributions from the fund will always remain confidential and be determined by a panel comprised of NZCPA Board members, including the Chairman.

For more information on the Fund please contact Heath Mills.
