The NZCPA is governed by an executive board of eight directors. The players from each of the six Major Associations elect a Board representative, and there are two independent directors.The current board is:- Ross Verry, Chairman (Independent)- Martyn Croy (Otago)- Richard Jones (Auckland)- David White (Northern Districts)- Peter Fulton (Canterbury)- Jason Wells (Wellington)- Jacob Oram (Central Districts)- Grant McKenzie (Independent)
Each team has an elected Team Representative. The Team Representative plays a vital role within the NZCPA as they are an important link between the Players and the NZCPA Staff. The players elect their Team representative on an annual basis.. Team representatives are repsonsible for ensuring all members are utlising the resources and services the NZCPA provide and communicate information relevant to the professional cricket environment.The current Player Representatives are:- Derek De Boorder (Otago)- Roneal Hira (Auckland)- Graeme Aldridge (Northern Districts)- Michael Papps (Canterbury)- Luke Woodcock (Wellington)- Peter Ingram (Central Districts)- Jacob Oram (Black Caps)- Aimee Satterthwaite (White Ferns)
