Membership Criteria

To become an NZCPA member a person must fit the following criteria:

(i) Past Players are eligible if they have played any form of First-Class or List-A cricket within New Zealand. Membership also extends to cricket players who have played against touring international sides or have held a cricketing contract with New Zealand Cricket or any of the Major Associations.

(ii) Current Players are eligible if they have a current Major Assoication or New Zealand Cricket contract or if they have played for their Major Association team during the current season. This category will typically have 15-20 players from each Major Association as members, as well as the 20 New Zealand Cricket contracted players.

(iii) Women's Players are eligible if they are selected as part of the New Zealand Cricket White Ferns squad. This category will typically have 15-20 players.

Membership Fees

1. All current player membership fees are included within the Master Agreement, between NZCPA and NZC, and the six Major Associations.
2. Past Players membership is paid on an annual ($30.00 per annum) or Life-Membership ($300.00) basis.
